Lookout Software Signs 500th OfficeCalendar Reseller

Authorized OfficeCalendar reseller channel expands to include resellers in 45 U.S. states and 32 countries to provide customers from around the world an affordable alternative to Exchange Server for sharing Outlook calendars

DALLAS, Texas, USA (December 3, 2007) – Lookout Software LLC. announced today that it has approved its 500th OfficeCalendar Reseller Agreement, marking a significant milestone for the company's continued and growing success.

OfficeCalendar was first released in 2004 with the goal of providing small businesses with a cost-effective alternative to Microsoft Exchange Server for sharing Outlook calendars, contacts and tasks. Since its initial release, OfficeCalendar has evolved into the industry-leading Outlook add-in product for sharing Outlook calendars without Exchange. OfficeCalendar's powerful yet easy-to-use feature set, affordable pricing structure, and high demand among small businesses, make it a perfect complement to core products and services already offered by local IT consultants and software resellers.

"The continued growths of the OfficeCalendar Authorized Reseller channel, and the diverse geographical locations of our resellers across 45 U.S. states and 32 countries, are a testament to the increasing worldwide demand by small businesses for an alternative to Microsoft Exchange Server. The overwhelming majority of small businesses who consider Microsoft Exchange Server are often motivated by the desire to simply share Outlook calendars over a network. OfficeCalendar allows them to do so at a fraction of the price of Exchange," said Tom Garrett, Lookout Software's Vice President of Client Services.

While Lookout Software maintains a dedicated sales and support staff, authorized OfficeCalendar resellers contribute approximately 20% to annual OfficeCalendar software license revenue. In addition to software license revenue, OfficeCalendar resellers generate additional revenue for their respective businesses by offering OfficeCalendar installation, training, and support services locally.

"OfficeCalendar has made it possible for me to offer my clients an effective, affordable means of sharing their Outlook calendars without the complexity or expense of Microsoft Exchange Server," said Jack McGuigan, an OfficeCalendar reseller, and Technology Manager of Packet In. "I'm pleased to have discovered OfficeCalendar, and it is a pleasure to deal with an organisation that understands the needs and motivations of the small business community."

A 14 day free trial of OfficeCalendar is available for download from Lookout Software at http://www.officecalendar.com/downloads/download.aspx.

Lookout Software encourages all local IT consultants, software resellers and VARS to investigate OfficeCalendar as an alternate solution to Microsoft Exchange Server for clients seeking to share Outlook calendars and more.
