You already get your emails delivered to your BlackBerry wirelessly through your cell phone carrier, but still have to connect your BlackBerry to your computer with a USB cord in order to sync it with your Outlook calendar, contact and task information. This means you don't get updates to these valuable folders when other people edit them while you're out of the office; and others don't see your updates until you get back into the office.

The new OfficeCalendar Mobile for BlackBerry application is designed specifically for BlackBerry devices and enables them to wirelessly (over-the-air) sync contact, task and calendar information between your Outlook/OfficeCalendar installation and BlackBerry smartphone device. With OfficeCalendar Mobile for BlackBerry you get full two-way over-the-air wireless synchronization between your BlackBerry and your calendar, contact and task folders. Thus, if someone at the office adds an appointment to your calendar while you are out and about, the new appointment will wirelessly sync to your BlackBerry. If you add an appointment to your BlackBerry while out and about, other users will see it in your shared calendar folder or from Microsoft Outlook or OfficeCalendar Online.
How does the wireless sync between Outlook and your BlackBerry work using OfficeCalendar Mobile for BlackBerry?
First, your Outlook data is synced to your OfficeCalendar Online account. Your BlackBerry smartphone device then connects to your OfficeCalendar Online account and synchronizes calendar, contact and task information between each other. Thus, calendar, contact and task information added and/or modified from Outlook are synchronized and updated on your BlackBerry; and any calendar, contact and task items added/modified from your BlackBerry are synchronized with your OfficeCalendar Online account and then with your Outlook folders via OfficeCalendar Online's sync to your OfficeCalendar Server.
Pricing
There are two components required for over-the-air wireless synchronization between a data-enabled BlackBerry device and OfficeCalendar. The first required component is an OfficeCalendar Online Account, which includes the built-in web service for synchronizing data between your OfficeCalendar installation and BlackBerry smartphone device. OfficeCalendar Online is included with the OfficeCalendar Premium Annual Maintenance plan which costs $27 per user per year. The second component required is the OfficeCalendar Mobile for BlackBerry application, which is installed on your BlackBerry smartphone. The OfficeCalendar Mobile for BlackBerry application typically costs $69.95 per BlackBerry smartphone device (licensed by PIN #), but is currently being offer at a promotional price of $49.95. The OfficeCalendar Mobile for BlackBerry application license fee is a one-time, per smartphone device fee.
